Donaghmore Ashbourne GAA Club is aware of recent media coverage relating to criminal court proceedings in which reference was made to a character testimonial provided by an individual described as “a coach from Ashbourne GAA club”.
The club wishes to clarify that any such testimonial was provided by the individual in a personal capacity. It was not submitted on behalf of Donaghmore Ashbourne GAA Club and does not represent the views or position of the club. The club executive was not aware of the testimonial at any stage.
Donaghmore Ashbourne GAA Club was not involved in the court proceedings and does not comment on matters before the court.
The club will not be making any further comment.
