Club Facility and games.

As summertime comes upon us, this would usually be a time where our club would be at the heart of the community, leagues and championships under way for over 50 teams in the club. Cars coming and going in our club every evening. As one match ends another begins. Its different now though. What kept us together, our society, our togetherness in sport, now keeps us apart as we must keep our distance. Noone seen this coming, noone prepared for this, yet we are all in this together. We can all play our part in getting past this by doing what is required of everyone, keep your distance, wash your hands, follow the protocols we all have to.

But more than that, be kind to yourself, get regular exercise, ring people you haven't in a while, just pick up the phone and chat and ask how the other person is.

We must repeat, our fantastic club and all its facilities are off limits to everyone until further notice. We will follow GAA and HSE protocols and update you as soon as we hear any more.

Thanks

At this time please take a moment to think of those healthcare workers around you who are in the frontline protecting all of us, with many of our club members selflessly doing everything that they can do and more. Also to all of those not directly in the frontline, ensuring that we can get what we need from day to day. Send them a message of thanks.
