All,

Our club executive is meeting weekly to determine the safest way we can implement the GAA safe return to play policy. The information below is subject to change and where we get closer to dates, we will have more clarification on all points so if you have any questions around Covid courses or assigning team reps or checking forms, they will be answered in coming weeks and days before we return.

Phased approach to returning

We are adopting a phased approach to returning to train and play with dates for teams as follows

Week beginning 29th June. Adult teams

Week beginning 6th July. Ages 15-18

Week beginning 13th July. Ages 12-14

All other age groups are on hold until further notice.

Pitch timetables will be circulated through games committees and codes.

Availability of facilities

From June 29th the club will ONLY be open to teams who have been allotted a training schedule.

The club will remain closed for social use of pitches until further notice.

The clubhouse, bar & gym remains closed until further notice. We are working hard and exploring all options to open everything but it must be done safely and in accordance with policies from insurance and governing bodies.

The pitches and outside toilets only will be open. Dressing rooms will not be open for use except as outlined in policy as an isolation room.

Outside toilet at back of stand available only.

We are investigating how we can use ACS pitch. Milltown pitch is not to be used for organised training sessions.

Rules to returning

As per return to play policy there is much we must adhere to.

All players and mentors must complete an on-line Covid course.

Parents must complete the course for juveniles.

Before each training session or game, players and mentors must complete and sign a health questionnaire form which includes recording temperature. We are looking to see can we have these online for practicality reasons

If a players form is not filled in for EACH training session, that player can not take part in the training session.

Each team are required to designate a covid rep to check forms. Each code will have a Covid officer, the club will have an overall club Covid supervisor.

More to follow on all these points.

Sanitisation

Outdoor Toilet at back of the Stand. Covid Rep from each team will have to ensure Toilet is sanitised after each session. The club will organise a Deep Disinfection of outside toilet once a week.

Every player to have their own sanitiser, club will supply sanitisers at stations around the club.

We will have sanitisation areas for equipment at our main clubhouse pitches.

Signage is being organised for around the club for sanitisation stations.

Isolation Room: 1 of the Dressing Rooms will be designated for this purpose alone. Sets of PPE will be provided in case of use
